WHAT IS ABA THERAPY?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) uses scientific behavior modification for children with autism and other diagnoses, to teach them how to display desirable behaviors and communicate in socially appropriate ways. We work on extinguishing problem behaviors, while teaching skill acquisition to help the child thrive and be successful in the community, at school, and at home. We also work on social skills, focus skills, life skills, following directions, receptive skills, and basic/community living skills. ABA therapy is considered the most effective evidence-based best practice treatment by the U.S. Surgeon General and by the American Psychological Association.

At Evolve, ABA therapy focuses on the acquisition of skills that enable children and young adults to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

Our Approach
Evolve primarily serves children and adolescents between the ages of 2-14 in its ABA therapy program.
Research shows that Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) is one of the most effective strategies for improving the language, social, and adaptive deficits associated with autism and other diagnoses. Research also shows that early intervention is most effective for children to receive ABA therapy starting from ages of 2 to 4 years old. In addition, we can work on reduction of challenging behaviors from developing by using behavior modification interventions early on.
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s) will meet with you and your child for an initial evaluation to assess the following but not limited to: skill/social deficits, what social skills need to be taught, daily living skills, language deficits and how to increase language, etc. The BCBA will then create a customized behavior treatment plan and provide caregivers with customized training to help their children at home.
We are here to empower both caregivers and children to live fulfilling lives!
